Intensive Expansion
Trans-tatou explores and developes new possibilities for the interior architectural surface or the common partition wall, where the latent geometries and materialities of composite systems - studs sandwiched between sheetrock - are examined in order to find dynamic solutions which reinvigorate the partition wall through geometrical, structural, material, and programmatic expansion.
The new system is an integrated process comprised of a new geometric language, a heightened funtional intent, gEAred towards providing a practical service, and a facilitative machinic process that enables maximum use of material in a costeffective manner with infinite possibilities of variation within the assembly process of a controlled number of extremely individualized members.
